(Nasdaq: PWRD) ("Perfect World" or the "Company"), a leading online game developer and operator in China, today announced that it has recently signed an agreement with HI-WIN Co., Ltd. ("HI-WIN") to license "Pocketpet Journey West" in Korea. This is the Company's fifth game licensed in the country.
"Pocketpet Journey West" is a Q-version 3D MMORPG that Perfect World began promoting in late 2008. The game is the first pet-themed game developed by the Company, and features a variety of exciting in-game systems, such as "Cloud Surfing," "72 Changes," "Aerial Combat System" and "9 Diversified Pets System," which have been popular with game players.
