Perfect World signs MOU with Columbia University

BEIJING, Oct. 8, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On the afternoon of September 30, Perfect World, a leading developer and operator of interactive entertainment products in China, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health in New York. On the morning of the same day, a delegation led by Perfect World CEO Xiao Hong visited Columbia University's Department of Computer Science as well as the neuroscience and environmental health science laboratories at the university's Mailman School of Public Health, where they gained further insight into Columbia University's achievements in public health. Then, in the afternoon, Perfect World executives held in-depth discussions on how interactive digital entertainment can be used in healthcare with a group consisting of more than ten scientists from the Mailman School of Public Health. Eric Kandel, a winner of the Nobel Prize in Medicine, shared his research findings and was actively engaged in the discussions.
