QuintessenceLabs, the leader in quantum security technology, has successfully completed a global capital raise and appointed an experienced leadership team in the US. "Our recent successful fund raise has enabled us to appoint a high caliber leadership team to drive growth in North America."
Mark Crowley, newly appointed President of QuintessenceLabs Inc., was most recently Executive in Residence at New Enterprise Associates and, prior to that, CEO of SolFocus. He has over 25 years of experience in the US Defense industry. At Lockheed Martin, Mark held numerous Vice President rolesin Engineering, Product Management and Air Force programs. At QuintessenceLabs he will lead all engagements with US government and civilian agencies, and contractors. Mark holds Engineering degrees from the University of Illinois and Drexel University, and is a graduate of the Stanford GSB Sloan Program. Mark's leadership will also establish enhanced engagements in the enterprise space where the team will now include Mr Mike Badarak and Dr Jane Melia.
Michael Badarak joins QuintessenceLabs Inc. as VP of Enterprise Sales. Mike brings a rich career with recent leadership roles at Citrix in the security and cloud-networking arena. Mike also held sales andproduct leadership roles at IPolicy Networks, Nokia, Ipsilon Networks, Cisco Systems, and Rockwell International. Over his career, Mike has nurtured many products from tiny beginnings to market leadership status. Mike has over 30 years industry and security experience and has an ElectricalEngineering degree from Michigan Technological University.
Jane Melia joins QuintessenceLabs Inc. as Director of Strategic Market Development. Jane's experience includes leading the Technical Marketing team at SolFocus where she drove market and competitive strategy, product marketing and technical sales. Jane also held a number of roles at HP, most recently in the Strategic Planning and Modeling group, enabling corporate strategic decision-making regarding products, customer segmentation and supply chain. Jane holds a degree in Engineering from Imperial College, London, and Ph.D. in Fluid Mechanics from Cambridge University.
