Raiing Medical and Partners HealthCare's Center for Connected Health Initiate a Clinical Research Program for iThermonitor

BOSTON, August 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Raiing Medical Company and the Center for Connected Health at Partners HealthCare initiated a clinical research program to assess the feasibility of the iThermonitor as a clinical support tool in the management of patients with acute leukemia undergoing intensive chemotherapy at various Partners affiliated pediatric oncology centers.

Kamal Jethwani, M.D., MPH, Corporate Manager, Research and Innovation at the Center for Connected Health, will lead the research as the principle investigator. Dr. Jethwani's research on technology-based models of health delivery includes the use of behavior change as a tool for preventive and supportive care in a tertiary health care setting.
