Reed Exhibitions and CPIT Shanghai Sign Memorandum of Understanding as Reed Continues Seeking Strong Partners in China

Both parties to explore strategic cooperation opportunities to boost one another's inbound and outbound exhibition trade

SHANGHAI, July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Reed Exhibitions and CPIT Shanghai recently forged a powerful working alliance when the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding. The MOU was endorsed following the success of high-level talks between Wang Lie, Vice Chairman of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CPIT Shanghai) and Nat Wong, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.

As part of the agreement, and to strengthen bilateral exchange, Reed and CPIT Shanghai will establish mechanisms through which critical experience and information are disseminated; long-term projects are investigated and opinions on key industry matters are shared. Both Reed and CPIT Shanghai have extensive talent, knowledge and technical resources at their disposal - the combination of which is sure to produce lasting win-win benefits.
