The Forum will be Held November 28, 2008 at the Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore

BANGALORE, India, Sept. 11 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- CoreNet Global, the world's leading professional association for corporate real estate executives, today announced that registration is officially underway for its local event entitled 'The Forum at Bangalore' which is scheduled to take place at The Leela Palace Kempinski hotel on November 28, 2008.

Themed 'Leading with Courage -- Keeping Corporate Real Estate on Track in Uncertain Times,' the forum will feature keynote speakers, expert panelists and extensive networking opportunities and is designed to provide insight and analysis into current challenges presently facing the corporate real estate industry in India.

According to Mr. Rajnikant Agrawal, Chair of the India Chapter for CoreNet Global, emerging issues including the global economic slowdown, rising energy costs, inflation and scarcity of talent are creating new dynamics for India's corporate real estate sector.

"At the Bangalore forum, we will explore the role that corporate real estate plays in responding to the economic climate in India," comments Mr. Agrawal whilst noting that strategies for dealing with current market challenges will also be presented and debated amongst leading corporate real estate professionals.

In addition, Mr. Agrawal notes the event will take an in-depth look at how during such uncertain times, commercial realty executives are able to continue to keep their workplace strategies on track, whilst positively contributing to their company's bottom line.

The CoreNet Global forum in Bangalore follows hot on the heels of the association's Global Summit held in Mumbai earlier this year which concluded that the outlook for India's corporate real industry generally remains optimistic, although there appears to a distinct resistance amongst businesses to take up offices in central business districts due to lack of quality spaces as well as skyrocketing rents.

For the Bangalore event, attendees are likely to include corporate real estate strategists, analysts, academia, government officials and other influential industry leaders. Corporate real estate professionals representing international companies from across the region are also expected to attend.
