BANGKOK, May 23, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Global warming is the rise in earth's temperature that is creating a serious negative affect on life in the 21st Century. The problem is often made more severe because of natural disasters, and many industrial sectors and government offices are now conducting research to prevent such calamities. UBM Asia (Thailand) fully appreciates the importance of clean energy programs which together with disaster prevention address these challenges and is working to create renewable energy development in our region. Renewable Energy Asia 2012 will feature many highly effective programs and solutions during the 2012 event which will be held at BITEC, Bangna from 6 - 9 June.

Manu Leopairote, Chairman of UBM Asia (Thailand) the show organizer, said this year's Renewable Energy event will again run together with Entech Pollutec and Pumps & Valves Asia which have been held for 22 and 13 years respectively. The 2012 show has generated great interest from both domestic and international business operations and attendees from over 200 companies and 20 countries will be attending making it one of the largest environmental exhibitions in the region. .

The slowing of both the US and EU economies and the upcoming AEC (ASEAN Economic Community) in 2015 will attract more investors to Renewable Energy 2012, especially from Thailand whose energy policies work hand-in-hand with international interests. Thailand's energy strategies are also working   in conjunction with the ADEP (Alternative Development Plan) which will be the powerhouse for Thai energy policies over the next 10 years (2011 - 2021) and reduce carbon energy dependence by 25%, replacing it with clean, renewable energy. The show will emphasize the importance and readiness of such programs throughout all sectors of industry.

"Boilex Asia 2012" - the important boilers and pressure vessels technology exhibition, will be held for the first time this year and will run in conjunction with Renewable Energy. Boilers and pressure vessels are critically important to the successful operation of modern industry and Boilex Asia 2012 is a must-attend event for maintaining successful and economical operation of this vital equipment.

Another important sector at this year's show will feature renewable energy fuels such as biomass and biogas. These 'green' fuels are replacing petrol and natural gas in a wide variety of industries and are of key interest for businesses that want to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels as soon as possible.

Leading companies will reveal their latest technologies at special country pavilions that will be another highlight of this year's show. They will include the Japanese pavilion, Chinese pavilion, Singaporean pavilion plus the Taiwanese and German pavilions along with 10 leading solar energy companies that will be joining the 2012 event.

Renewable Energy 2012  will  also offer other  new sectors and programs  such as the One-stop Energy Consultant Center, the Renewable Energy Conference, and "The BIMSTEC Regional Workshop and Study Visit on Biofuels Production and Utilization" which will be presented  by the Ministry of Energy along with the German Renewable Energy Day, PV Solar given by the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore and a seminar conducted by the Chamber of Commerce Thailand "Community's Energy Station for Sustainable Energy and Agriculture", that will feature technology for water usage for community committees on science, technology and telecommunications.

Manu Leopairote also noted that Renewable Energy Asia 2012 will be double the size of the 2011 event at up to 14,500 Sq.Ft. This year the organizer expects 20,000 attendees -- 10% from aboard -- and cash flow from business contacts are expected to be more than ten billion baht.
