Revised: President Hu Jintao Appreciates the Quality of Intelligent Border Control System Installed in Shenzhen Bay Port

SHENZHEN, China, July 4 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- China Public Security Technology, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CPBY.OB), ("China Public Security" or "the Company"), a leading provider of public security information technology and Geographic Information Systems ("GIS") software services and the first Chinese public security information technology company to be listed in the U.S. market, today announced the Peoples' Republic of China President Hu Jintao hosted the opening of the Shenzhen Bay Port and expressed his appreciation for the quality of the Company's Intelligent Border Control System.

On July 1, 2007, President Hu Jintao hosted the Opening Ceremony of the Shenzhen Bay Port. Shenzhen Bay Port is regarded as the largest port with such high level of technology in the world and one of the focused projects in celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Handover to China. President Hu Jintao, through enquiring immigration officers regarding the processing time and workflow and inspecting China Public Security's system, highly recognized and applauded the contribution of the Company's Intelligent Border Control System to increase the processing speed, and shorten waiting time for visitors crossing the border to and from Hong Kong. Currently, there are numerous exit and entry borders in need of similar Intelligent Border Control Systems. The successful implementation of China Public Security's system at Shenzhen Bay Port has worked as an excellent founding step for the Company to expand to other exit and entry borders.

The Company's Intelligent Border Control System stores biometric information such as fingerprints and facial features from passengers in a database, and integrates it with infrared and license plate recognition technologies to enable the automation of border control checkpoints for faster and more accurate processing of passengers, while at the same time helping to safeguard borders from stowaway activities, and greatly improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of border control management.

"It has been an honor for us to have President Hu Jintao come to evaluate and recognize our efforts, as well as the efficiency and quality of our products installed at the Shenzhen Bay Port," said Mr. Jiang Huai Lin, the Company's CEO. "This Shenzhen Bay Port project is a National-level project in China. The successful implementation as well as the high recognition by our President have enhanced our reputation publicly and increased our competitiveness in getting similar projects or bids in the near future."
