Signing of Strategic Cooperation Agreement between Inspur Group of China and Voskhod of Russia

BEIJING, Oct. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- On 13th, Oct, Sun Pishu, Chairman and CEO of Inspur Group of China, and Kocharov, General Manager of Voskhod Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary under Ministry of Communication and Mass Media of Russia signed strategic cooperation agreement at the Russian government building. Chinese officials and Russian premier Medvedev witnessed the signing ceremony.

In terms of the comprehensive strength in software and hardware, Inspur ranks as top two in China's IT industry. It is one of the four information system integrator entitled extra grade one qualification and a leading manufacturer of Chinese cloud computing and big data. Voskhod has made remarkable achievements in Russia's communication industry and information security, while Inspur group has contributed greatly in China's information security and its enhancing international status also serves as the footstone of cooperation between the two sides. Inspur will closely cooperate with Voskhod, strengthen technology sharing, and support information industry construction in Russia and CIS countries.

On 25th July, Chinese officials visited Inspur and promised to promote China's cloud computing key equipment just like the way the country promotes high speed railway and nuclear power. This symbolizes a very high level of attention to China's cloud computing key equipment. Inspur will make continuous effort in the global market by drawing strength from the Russian market, cooperate with Russia in cloud computing key equipment technology sharing, provide products and solutions to the Russian Internet industry, jointly build supercomputing platform, support information construction in Russia and CIS countries as well as the rest of the world and push China's cloud computing products to the world.

In recent years, Inspur's overseas branches have gradually increased. At present, it has set up cooperation relationship with 59 countries and regions, established 23 representative offices in 23 countries, and realized localized technical support center, localized cloud service center and localized after sales service center. Based on the existing R&D centers in Seattle and Japan, Inspur is willing to expand the number of global technical R&D centers.
