To celebrate the Year of the Monkey and Valentine's Day, Sino Club hosted a festive celebration party with its 40 supportive members and participants from Hong Kong Single Parents Association at Flame @ Towngas Avenue in China Hong Kong City on 31 January, 2016, and wishing all prosperity, happiness and good health.

The member gathering turned out to be a fun-thrilled interactive cooking date with award-winning chef teams of Sino Hotels. Chef William Chow from Satay Inn of Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel kick-started to lead all participants to share the bounty of preparing the auspicious low-carbon Yu Sheng Lohei and ring in good luck. Prolific Executive Chef Sandro Falbo of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore helms an outstanding award-winning team at both hotels and flew in to cook for his patrons at Gradini Ristorante E Bar Italiano of The Pottinger Hong Kong. Chef Falbo unfolded his home-town and family recipe to whisk tiramisu, Gradini's signature dessert for Valentine's celebration. Head Mixologist Paul Kwok of Gradini Ristorante E Bar Italiano presented his "Koi Wish", "My Cup of Tea" and "Love Potion" for all loved ones to enjoy and taste.

To encourage the conservation of cultural art and craftsmanship, every participant spent a cultural afternoon to learn and sculpt a mini Big Head Buddha from Master Paul Chan, the only Big Head Buddha Master in Hong Kong with two generations of craftsmanship. This traditional Chinese New Year festive icon signifies harmony and happiness and shall fit well in everyone's home during the festive season.

Embracing the values of "Trust.Value.Care", Sino Club has organised a territory-wide food donation programme with Food Angel, Feeding Hong Kong, and Foodlink Foundation since 2014. Sino Club members were eager to support this meaningful call and brought packs of rice and festive packaged food to the event for donation. Festive visits to the local food bank include meals preparation at its kitchen will take place after Chinese New Year and Sino Club members will pick up all the cooking tips from the creative chef teams to serve the community-in-need.

Sino Club has launched a seven-week campaign, "Be My Valentine: Season of Love @ Sino Club 2016", to share a wealth of love and joy with our members in this festive season.
