Sino Group of Hotels Presents Easter Cupcake Hat Parade with Appearance of SILENCE and B.Duck

HONG KONG, March 30, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- On 30 March 2011, Sino Group of Hotels hosted the kick off ceremony for "Easter Cupcake Hat Parade" at Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel. Nicholas Yim, Executive Director & Group General Manager and the hotels' executives unveiled to the guests 53 hats handcrafted by the talented pool of young artists of Moonbear Creative Workshop , which will be showcased at the hotel lobbies of The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, City Garden Hotel and Island Pacific Hotel in Hong Kong.

Catwalk performance by Nicholas Yim, Executive Director & Group General Manager, fellow executives and 8 students from Kowloon Bay St. John the Baptist Catholic Primary School, wearing Easter hats created by the little artists of Moonbear Creative Workshop

The ceremony featured catwalk performance by 8 children from Kowloon Bay St. John the Baptist Catholic Primary School and sign language song performed by SILENCE Association. The hotel executives took the opportunity to learn the sign language to express love and happiness.  Felly Chung, Executive Chef of Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel enhanced final touches to three cupcakes designed by Esther Yip and Helen Tam, artists from "Art in Hong Kong".

Charity sales of cupcakes at HK$30 each would be held at The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers, Hong Kong Gold Coast Hotel, Island Pacific Hotel, and DIY cupcake workshop at City Garden Hotel from 1 April 2011 and over weekends. Donation would be pledged at all four hotels during the festive period, proceeds of which would go to SILENCE Association.
