Hongqipo Farm is located in Akesu, Xinjiang, near the southern base of Tianshan Mountain. It is adjacent to Akesu city in the south and Wensu County in the west. With an airport located inland, the Hongqipo Farm is in a geologically suitable location with convenient transport, and is also an ideal place for investment and development.

Hongqipo Brand came into being

Founded in 1958, Hongqipo Farm is a medium- to large-scale agricultural enterprise integrating the agriculture, forest, and stockbreeding industries with an emphasis on forestry and fruit growing industries. Now it has developed into a large agricultural State-owned Enterprise (SOE) in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region. Why is the Hongqipo Farm so famous? The answer comes from the apples.

The Fuji Apple trees were planted at the farm at the beginning of the 1990s and the Fuji Apple has become more and more famous. In 2004, the Hongqipo Brand was registered for the Fuji Apple produced by the Farm.

Hongqipo became famous

A good brand will be popular everywhere, and the Hongqipo Farm has launched a series of events to introduce the Hongqipo Brand Fuji Apple in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen in 2004 with the support of related authorities of Akesu. In 2005, a fruit dealer in Shanghai placed an order for 5,000 tons of Fuji Apple at one time.

Since 2007, the quantity of Hongqipo Fuji Apple sold to Shanghai has been increasing year-on-year and it reached 20,000 tons in 2010. At present, Hongqipo Apple is also sold in Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Beijing, and other cities, and it is so popular in the market that the supply of the apples cannot satisfy the demand. In addition to Akesu, Hongqipo constructed another production base in Kashi, 800 kilometers away from the farm. Currently, the Hongqipo Apple is sold all over China as well as countries and regions like Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macao.

In 2011, the Akesu Apple was designated as a geologically important product, which led to great strides in creation of the Akesu Apple Brand.

Sweet-cored apple creates miracles

In recent years, the apple industry has continued to strengthen via modern agricultural and digital information technologies in Akesu, and the Sweet-Cored Apple of Akesu has been popular not only in Xinjiang but also in the whole of China as well as in Southeast Asian countries. Thanks to the golden brand of Akesu Sweet-Cored Apple, the local fruits producers are well paid, and the sweet-cored apples created by the development miracle in Akesu continues to prosper.
