At the Conference, Alibaba Cloud founded the country's first cloud computing industry alliance - Yunqi Cloud Alliance ("Yunqi" denotes the image of a small cluster of white clouds in a valley). The mission of the alliance is dedicated to the development and enhancement of cloud computing environment, including both service/product providers at IaaS, PaaS and SaaS layers, as well as cloud computing end-users. The alliance has attracted some of the best IT companies in China to join the Alibaba Cloud-Centric cloud computing industry chain, further promoting cloud computing concept, technology and business models in China.
The first group of members of the alliance comprises of more than 30 leading IT companies in China. In this role, ChinaSoft will lead the alliance jointly with Alibaba Cloud to further the development of China's cloud computing industry through Yunqi Cloud Alliance.
