TechFaith to Expand Shipments of 3rd Generation Ruggedized Android Smart Phones to the European Union and Russia

BEIJING, June 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- China TechFaith Wireless Communication Limited (NASDAQ:CNTF), today announced it will expand shipments of it ruggedized Android smart phones into the European Union and Russia in the second and third quarters of 2013.

TechFaith's 3rd generation ruggedized smart phone, "Giant", was designed on the robust Android Jelly Bean operating system and runs on WCDMA/GSM networks, with IP68 and MIL-S810G standards certifications. Its main features include 4.3 inch LCD screen, water resistance up to 1.5 meters, dust and shock protection, an 8.0 megapixel camera, dual-sim card support, with an extended life 3000mah battery.
