SINGAPORE, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Teleperformance was named the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Contact Center Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year for the second consecutive time at the 2013 Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards held on the 17th of July at the St Regis, Singapore.

The Asia Pacific region is a high-growth region for contact center outsourcing; although most contact center functions are still performed in-house, outsourcing shows strong growth. Historically, offshore revenue has been the key driver of the Asia Pacific contact center market. Cost savings, solid infrastructure, and language proficiency boost Asia Pacific locations as offshore destinations for contact center outsourcing.

Teleperformance has an established business presence in the Asia Pacific region. The company has expanded throughout Asia since the mid-90s, and now operates 21 facilities across 7 countries, employing over 25,000 people. Arguably, Teleperformance offers the most extensive regional footprint among outsourcers.

"Teleperformance creates value for clients by providing premium customer interaction services that are attuned to their requirements. The company has been demonstrating consistent growth thanks to its client-focused approach, as well as emphasis on customer care thought leadership, and cost effective solutions. Its growth strategy has been built around expertise in technology and right-shoring," said Krishna Baidya, Research Manager for Frost & Sullivan's Asia Pacific ICT practice.

He continued, "The Company's growing focus on Asia was evident from its expanding foot-print in the region and pursuing customers within the region. This has yielded well for the company with many leading brands from broad range of industries signing in as customers last year, resulting in over 15% revenue growth, considerably faster than its competitors."

Founded in 2004, the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific ICT Awards program is now in its 10th consecutive year, and seeks to recognize companies and individuals that have demonstrated best practices in their industry, commending the diligence, commitment, and innovative business strategies required to advance in the global marketplace.
