Texas American Resources Appoints Bryan Yam as Vice President of International Business Development

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 15 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Texas American Resources-Asia Ltd., an affiliate of Texas American Resources Company, Austin, Texas, has announced the appointment of Mr. Bryan Yam to the position of Vice President of International Business Development effective August 1, 2007.

Mr. Yam has 30 years experience in the international E&P business, having most recently worked for Kerr-McGee. He joined Kerr-McGee in 1992 and helped start their China, Thailand and Indonesia Exploration and Production ventures, including acquiring seven Production Sharing Contracts ("PSC") in China and two PSCs in Thailand. Prior to Kerr-McGee, he worked for NL-Shaffer as the Asia Pacific Regional Services Manager in Southeast Asia and Australia.

Bryan will be responsible for generating new business opportunities throughout the Asia Pacific Region, including asset acquisitions and new ventures. He will be based in the Shekou Operations office in southern China.
