SHANGHAI, Dec. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The 26th Istanbul International Children Baby Maternity Industry Expo (CBME Turkey 2014) will open in four exhibition halls in Istanbul CNR Exhibition Center from January 16 to 19, 2014, with a total exhibition area of 38,000 square meters. More than 10,000 trade visitors and 55,000 non-trade visitors are expected to attend.
Exhibition space is close to being sold out. 280 exhibitors and 630 brands have confirmed attendance. Brands include Babybjorn, Bebedor, Britax, Romer, Bremed, Chicco, Concord, Dr. Browns, Pierre Cardin, Hauck, Mamajoo, Tomy, Quinny, NUK, Graco, MAM, Medela, Koala, Bugaboo, Nuby, Maclaren, Maxi Cosi, Kraft, Nattou, Feberand and more.
International exhibitors from China, Greece, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal and Spain have confirmed participation. ASEPRI, the Spanish Association for Baby Products and Kids Fashion will organise a Spain Pavilion (Marca Espana) to showcase some of Spain's best childcare and baby/kids fashion brands including Casualplay, Bossa by Amarti, Babybol, Pilar Batanero, LOSAN, Mayoral, Bebe Due, Miniland, BABY NOW, Jane and more. Other Spanish brands will participate in CBME Turkey at independent booths such as Coimasa, Bimbi and Dreams.
Full range of children, baby and maternity products will be showcased in CBME Turkey, including baby and maternity care products; baby carriages, car seats and furniture, home textile; baby food and healthcare products; baby's and children's clothing, footwear and accessories; maternity clothing, underwear and accessories; toys, educational products and souvenirs.
CBME Turkey is the biggest trade expo in Turkey dedicated to babies and children products and services. It is the third largest baby children products fair in Europe. The event has continuously grown in the past 23 years. Turkey is the one of the countries with a young population that comprises 26% of total population. It is the second country in the world with a population increase of 1.2% after India (1.3%). The Turkish market for infant products grows at a rate of approximately 12% annually.
