Learning First-hand and Top-notch Game Production / Design Techniques and Theories from World-class Game Masters from Japan.

HONG KONG, April 29, 2008 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport) and Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) announced to jointly organize the first PS3(TM) game production program in Hong Kong, the "Digital Content Creation Camp". The program will provide training opportunities for young people and professionals in Hong Kong, especially game programmers, designers and producers, on the knowledge and skills of international PlayStation(R) game development to equip them to work in the global digital entertainment industry, to enhance their career development, and to realize their creativity in digital game.

The program will be an one-year training course. Cyberport and SCEH will invite famous game masters from Japan to teach the participants. The program includes digital contents production theories, programming, visual arts and other components. SCEH's authorized game production house and training agency, Premium Agency Inc., will provide lecturers and share their game production experience.

Famous Japanese game masters including experts from the production teams of PS3(TM) games GENJI(TM), Folklore(TM), THE EYE OF JUDGMENT(TM) BIOLITH REBELLION SET.2 and Premium Agency Inc., namely, Mr. Katsunori Yamaji, Mr. Motonobu Kawashima, Mr. Kenji Ozawa, Mr. Shigekazu Yamada, Mr. Kazuya Hattori and more, will be invited to Hong Kong to share their game production experience and to teach participants how to develop world-class PLAYSTATION(R)3 games during the training course.

At the same time, Mr. Shin Kiyoshi, the renowned Japan game producer and lecturer of Digital Entertainment Academy, and Mr. Eiji Ohnobu, the Head of corporate planning and business development of NOWPRODUCTION CO.
