BEIJING, Dec. 4 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The 12th annual China STAFF Human Resources Awards ceremony, where some of the most coveted awards in the Chinese human resources industry are given out, was held yesterday at the Westin Chaoyang in Beijing. The China STAFF awards honored companies that have, in the last year, put forth the greatest effort in improving the HR industry as a whole. In the afternoon leading up to the evening awards ceremony, the China STAFF Human Resources Conference 2009 was convened-a day full of knowledge sharing sessions by several well-known veteran in the HR world.

First held in 1998 in Hong Kong, the China STAFF HR Awards expanded to Mainland China in 2003 in acknowledgement of CCH's business development in China as well as the country's rapid economic development. According to a report published by Peking University, the market revenue of global human resource services amounted to more than 100 billion USD in 2007, making China the world's largest human resource market. In the seven years since 2003, the premier HR awards event has been alternately held in Beijing and Shanghai to reflect the importance of HR professionals in the global stage. CCH, as the organizer of the event, is committed to facilitating the exchange of best industry practices across the world, and continually sets world-class benchmarks for outstanding HR practices.

The judging process was a stringent one with nominees for the awards must first produce a variety of industry information for assessment.
