SINGAPORE, Feb. 1 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Thomas L. Elliott III, 49, has joined Mercer Human Resource Consulting in the newly-created position of Chief Operating Officer, Consulting Practices, reporting to M. Michele Burns, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mercer Human Resource Consulting, it was announced today.
"With more than 26 years of core consulting and leadership experience, Tom brings a passion for client service and business development to his role," said Ms. Burns. Prior to joining Mercer, Mr. Elliott was with Unisys Corporation, where beginning in 2004 he served as president of its Global Commercial Industries business unit. Previously, from 2002 to 2004, he was executive vice president of Global Integration at BearingPoint, Inc., where he oversaw the integration of the Arthur Andersen global Business Consulting practice.
For some 22 years, from 1980 to 2002, Mr. Elliott was with Arthur Andersen, where he held a series of executive leadership positions, culminating as executive managing partner, Markets and Solutions. In that role, he was a member of Andersen's global executive team and was responsible for strategy development, marketing and communications, research and innovation, industry and key account management, and all service lines (audit, tax, business consulting, and corporate finance).
Mr. Elliott holds both a BBA degree in accounting and a Masters degree in accounting from the University of Georgia.
