Exclusively supported by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, this one-day conference is being held on 11th March at The Galadari Hotel, Colombo and gains further significance in the light of the recent visit of the President of Sri Lanka to India and upcoming visit of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to Sri Lanka on 13th March. The renewable energy sector is one of the top most priority sectors of the new Indian government that has set an ambitious target of achieving 100 GW of solar power and 60 GW of wind power generation by the year 2022, and is expected to attract US$ 200 Bn worth of investments to drive this sector forward.

The India-Sri Lanka Renewable Energy Growth Forum aims to accelerate growth of the renewable energy sector in Sri Lanka by offering suitable development opportunities to Indian businesses in this industry.
