UL High-Tech Division Bolsters Preferred Partner Program With Signing of G&M Compliance

Coordinated compliance solution expected to reduce time-to-market and product introduction costs

Underwriters Laboratories (UL), a world leader in product safety testing and certification, announced today that G&M Compliance, a provider of product certification services, has signed a Preferred Partner Agreement with UL. The signing of the agreement with G&M Compliance expands UL's services for high-tech product safety certification, including global market access.

"The Preferred Partner Program enables manufacturers to work seamlessly between UL and G&M Compliance to receive a complete suite of services required to get to market quickly and economically," said Carlos Correia, vice president, UL High-Tech Division. The agreement with G&M Compliance is expected to reduce the cost and time to market of new product introductions by minimizing design, testing and evaluation cycles. Manufacturers working with UL for certification activities can now access G&M Compliance's value-added services such as component selection/sourcing and witnessed pre-compliance testing.

"In addition to expanding UL's services, G&M Compliance has the opportunity to leverage UL's immense certification offerings and knowledge base in order to provide manufacturers with the most efficient method in obtaining UL certification," said Thomas Ha, vice president, business development for G&M Compliance.
