BEIJING, February 26, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. ("VisionChina Media" or the "Company") (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced that it has been officially appointed as the exclusive mobile TV strategic partner of the Chinese Football Association Super League ("CSL") according to a five-year term strategic cooperation agreement. In 2013, VisionChina Media will team with China Central Television ("CCTV") and SINA to deliver comprehensive coverage of the CSL season across multiple media platforms.

Qilin Zhu, the general manger of the Chinese Football Association Super League Corporation, commented, "VisionChina is a powerful media platform with massive media coverage. Partnering with VisionChina Media will greatly enhance CSL's nationwide impact. Football has become a truly international sport, and CSL is one of the most influential sports leagues in China. This partnership combines one of the most influential sporting events with one of the most powerful media networks in China to provide seamless media coverage of CSL for commuters, and to bring football into everyone's daily life."

Limin Li, VisionChina Media's chairman and chief executive officer, commented, "During large sporting events like the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the 2011 Shenzhen Universiade and the 2012 London Olympics, the premium visual experience and live program coverage delivered by our exclusive nationwide mobile TV networks across public transit systems showcased our dissemination power and put us in front of millions of commuters. Public transit commuters are a key demographic for Chinese football. Our exclusive role as a mobile TV strategic partner of the CSL will create an atmosphere of 'watching football at any time, at any place', which will enhance the impact of the CSL across the country and make football a truly national sport. At the same time, multiple efforts will be made to create attractive and interactive advertising products. We believe we are well positioned to realize the benefit of the vast business opportunities presented by the CSL."

Mr. Li added, "The Chinese Football Association Super League Corporation and representatives of its 16 football clubs recently met with us at our Shenzhen headquarters to discuss the overall marketing strategy and plan for the 2013 CSL season. So far, we have developed six programs to capture highlights of the games, broadcast live matches, provide real-time updates, and also share news of individual football clubs, with the aim of bringing the enthusiasm and culture of football to a wide range of audiences."

Mr. Li continued, "We will soon launch our interactive platform, VisionChina Media - CSL, to enable audiences to interact in real-time with CSL matches and campaigns broadcasted on mobile TV through their smartphones. Bus and subway commuters will be able to obtain CSL news, match results and statistics, and join online games. We believe the combination of our digital television network and interactive application will enhance the fun experience for our audiences and yield greater value for our advertisers. We are delighted to be the exclusive mobile TV partner of the CSL, and we look forward to a great 2013 season."
