VisionChina Media to Hold Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on December 21, 2012 in Hong Kong

BEIJING, November 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. ("VisionChina" or "the Company") (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced it will hold its 2012 annual general meeting of shareholders at the offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, 35/F ICBC Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., at 10:30 a.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on December 21, 2012 (9:30 p.m. EST on December 20, 2012). The Company has fixed the close of business on November 26, 2012 as the record date for the determination of shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the 2012 annual general meeting of shareholders.

The Company has filed its annual report on Form 20-F, including its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2011, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
