BEIJING, November 13, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- VisionChina Media Inc. ("VisionChina" or "the Company") (Nasdaq: VISN), one of China's largest out-of-home digital television advertising networks on mass transportation systems, today announced it will hold its 2013 annual general meeting of shareholders at the offices of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, 35/F ICBC Tower, 3 Garden Road, Central, Hong Kong, Hong Kong S.A.R., at 10:30 a.m. Beijing/Hong Kong time on December 9, 2013 (9:30 p.m. EST on December 8, 2013). The Company has fixed the close of business on November 8, 2013 as the record date for the determination of shareholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the 2013 annual general meeting of shareholders.

The Company has filed its annual report on Form 20-F, including its audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2012, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC").
