In addition to the support team, company also ready to offer students live video classes

BALTIMORE, Aug. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Following the sudden closure of the five Wall Street Institute Taiwan franchise locations early last week, experienced support staff from Wall Street Institute International began arriving in Taipei to help affected students. Starting this week, staff will be contacting students directly to work through their individual educational needs. Priority will be given to communicating with those students who have already submitted their information via the published hotline channels to determine the best way to help them achieve their goals of learning English.

In addition to the support staff now located in Taipei, WSI International will begin offering affected students live video classes starting August 20. These classes are run by a teacher with students participating through a live video feed. WSI International staff will also be contacting students this week with information about how to participate in these classes.

The video classes are one solution to offer students a key component of the WSI learning method. The other primary components of course study and student manual work are already being made available to affected students. WSI support staff in Taiwan will also be working with the local government agencies to work through the different aspects of offering an on the ground educational solution in Taiwan.

"WSI International appreciates the patience of the students affected by the sudden closure of the WSI Taiwan franchise centers," said David Kedwards, CEO, Wall Street Institute International. "We need time to find the best solutions for the students and to strengthen our team on the ground. Because WSI International has not operated in Taiwan before, it is effectively a new, and foreign, business entity working to obtain the appropriate permissions and licenses to operate in Taiwan, which takes time. We want students to know that we are committed to helping them achieve their dream of being able to speak English."

In the wake of the unfortunate decision to close the centers last week, the company has been able to restore many services in order to offer an effective learning experience for students. When the centers first closed, students were able to access their coursework online immediately. Student manuals will begin to be mailed this week, and now video classes will be offered starting next week. With support staff on the ground, the company will work to rebuild the trust of the students and work with them through their journey to learn English.

Since the closure, students have been asked to submit their contact details by calling a hotline - 00801-85-6748 - or sending an email to info@wallstreetinstitute.com. WSI International encourages all students to make sure they have registered their details with the hotlines so that they receive personal attention at the earliest opportunity.
