"BIG+BIH October 2012" -- An Ultimate Regional Design Works Showcase Makes a Return to the Limelight

BANGKOK, August 24, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- The ultimate design product fair "BIG+BIH October 2012", or 34th Bangkok International Gifts and Bangkok International Houseware Fair October 2012, makes a return to the limelight. Organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce in close collaboration with seven Thai Lifestyle Product Associations, the fair is held for 34th under the concept of "Heart of Design & Lifestyle Showcase of ASEAN".

The fair offers products from more than 600 leading operators of Thailand, ASEAN and around the world which are displayed on 1,600 booths covering the area of 40,000 square meters. Hall 103-105 is dedicated to the Gift and Souvenir Zone, offering gifts made of cloths, adornments, and festive season toys. Hall 106 is reserved as the House Decorations and Handicraft Zone, which offers perfumery products, soaps, textiles, office stationery, decorations, and household utensils, etc.

International Pavilion is specially arranged at Hall 106 for the display of design products from around the world which reflect the identity of each country. Hall 101-102 comprises carefully selected and ultimate products from new generation designers. The fair also offers other special activities, for example, Design Forum Exhibition, OTOP Exhibition "Top OTOP to World Markets", Thai Products Exhibition with Demark Design, etc.

BIG+BIH October 2012 is divided into Business Talks Day, which is held during 16th-19th October from 10.00 - 18.00 hrs, and Retail Day which is held during 20th-21st October from 10.00 - 21.00 hrs, at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center, Bang Na, Bangkok Metropolis.
