'So Young' Tops JD.com's List of Chinese Books Sold Overseas in May

BEIJING, June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- JD.com Global (en.JD.com), the international website of Jingdong, China's leading direct B2C e-commerce company, today released its list of the best-selling Chinese language books on the site in May. The report provides an indicator on popular trends for Chinese language books among readers outside of China.

So Young, the best-selling novel by Generation Y author Xin Yiwu, tops the list. The book tells the story of a group of young students facing difficult life choices as they make their way to adulthood, and its recent film adaptation is now one of the best-selling domestic movies ever.

The list also includes several Chinese editions of world literature, such as the Collected Essays of Haruki Murakami and The Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera.
