SHANGHAI, Sept. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- AB InBev announced today that it has signed a contract with Sapporo Breweries. AB InBev will officially become the single distributor exclusive for Sapporo's full range of products in mainland China. The contract term is total 10 years.
Sapporo was originated from Japan since 1876, with the longest history among Japanese beer brand. It's also popular in other markets outside Japan such as North America, Europe and other Asian markets. Meanwhile, AB InBev has well established its route to market in China market with strong marketing and sales capabilities. With this co-operation, we're confident that Sapporo product will be enjoyed by more and more consumers in mainland China and Sapporo brand will be elevated to the next level.
The contract excludes HKSAR, MSAR, and Taiwan.
