Department of Trade in Services of Ministry of Commerce of China and UBM plc Co-launch Public Training on Advanced Exhibition Marketing

BEIJING, Sept. 27, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Services Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China and UBM plc., supported by the China Convention & Exhibition Society, announced today that they are hosting a special seminar to help improve the marketing expertise of local Chinese exhibition organizers. The Seminar titled, “How to Use Database, Internet and Social Media technology to improve Visitor Recruitment and Experience” will be held in Beijing on December 2, 2013.

The one-day seminar will feature talks by senior executives and key experts from across UBM’s global business units to share their experience and global best practices, distilled from UBM’s hundreds of exhibitions presented worldwide each year. Keynote addresses will be delivered by Madam Shu Huan, MOFCOM Division Director, Department of Trade in Services and by Ms. Jane Risby-Rose, UBM’s Global Executive Vice President for Events. The seminar will also feature a special presentation by Mr. Huang Biao, President of LINGTONG Exhibition System Co. Ltd., on how to improve the sustainability of China’s exhibition business.

Attendance at the seminar will be by invitation only and free to qualified attendees, who will receive an official certificate co-signed by the Trade in Services Division of MOFCOM and UBM plc. upon the conclusion of the training.
