The 2013 Edition of the Hong Kong International Jewellery Show (HKIJS) provides an exceptional stage for Italian Jewellery, a key player in a rich programme of events and meetings organised through a joint project between ICE - the Italian Trade Commission - and Fiera di Vicenza in cooperation with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
From 5th to 9th March, the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center will be hosting an all-time first: an area dedicated to Mega Trends in jewellery style and product devised and produced by TRENDVISION Jewellery + Forecasting, Fiera di Vicenza's permanent independent Centre that researches jewellery, watches and fashion accessories trends and styles.
At the HKIJS (Hong Kong International Jewellery Show), TRENDVISION will be offering a structured programme of initiatives focusing on Italian Jewellery, which will be presented to the media at a press conference scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 5th March (Oasis Area - Hall 3D Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, from 5 pm to 6 pm).
Trends will be playing a leading role at the "Jewels of Italy Parade", a fashion parade programmed for Wednesday 6th March in the Sky Lobby at 46°@ Central Plaza in Hong Kong, where 60 masterpieces from 60 Italian companies will be on display, interpreting, with their creations, the main themes of the 4 Mega Trends identified by TRENDVISION'S forecaster team: Surreal Garden, Decorama, Folk-Luxe, High Vibrancy.
The programme also includes meetings and seminars to present Trends to the HKIJS audience. Producers, buyers and retailers will be able to take part in the "Monitoring global trends of jewellery for strategic marketing" Seminar to be held on 6th March from 11.30 am to 12.30 pm in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre HKTDC Training Room C. The Seminar will take place after a Media Breakfast Meeting especially for journalists, scheduled to take place at 10 am (Meeting Room N106-7).
The initiatives proposed at Hong Kong, Asia's number one jewellery manufacturing and trading Hub, are the result of cooperation between the Show organisers - the Hong Kong Trade Development Council - and ICE, and will enhance Fiera di Vicenza's leading position as a reference point for all topics concerning up and coming Trends in the sector through ad hoc promotion of the very best and distinctive elements of Italian production within a global context.
