Open Media Center for All National and International Press During FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013

BRASILIA, Brazil, May 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Brazilian government will host an Open Media Center during the FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013, which will be held in Brazil on 15-30 June 2013. The Center will be available to all national and international press on-site in Brazil to cover the tournament, and will be open from June 12 to July 2, 2013.

Located in Forte de Copacabana, in Rio de Janeiro, the Center will provide broadband internet access, WiFi, meeting rooms, an auditorium for press conferences and briefings, radio studios, stand up sites, and a broadcast center. In addition to having access to information about Brazil and the World Cup host cities in Portuguese, English and Spanish, you can enjoy a diverse cultural agenda inside and outside the Media Center.*

Media may register with the Open Media Center by filling out the registration form provided on Brazil's official World Cup Portal (www.copa2014.gov.br/en/imprensa) to guarantee online access to news content from the Open Media Center and other helpful information.

*Note: Access is limited to the service capacity of the Center, by entry in order of arrival. Accreditation will also be provided on-site. Presentation of an identification document with photo and a professional badge is required.
