The Red Flag Group(R) invests further in Asia Pacific with the expansion of its office in Shanghai and the appointment of Beth Epstein as General Manager, Asia Pacific

HONG KONG and PHOENIX, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading global data, due diligence and intelligence firm, The Red Flag Group®, today announced the significant expansion of its office in Shanghai and the appointment of Beth Epstein to its Leadership Team as General Manager, Asia Pacific based in Shanghai.

"The Red Flag Group® has a very healthy business supporting global companies operating in the China market by conducting due diligence on their business partners and helping them make better decisions about doing business in one of the world's fastest growing markets.  I am very excited to join the Firm to expand this growth even further and invest in our teams in mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia," said Beth.

Beth has over fifteen years' experience in China with more than a decade in advising multinational companies on how to conduct due diligence and select their business partners in Greater China. She has worked at several international business advisory firms, advising multinational corporations in several industry sectors on the risks of doing business in China and throughout Asia Pacific.  Her experience includes pre-IPO, M&A and due diligence engagements, complex fraud and corporate investigations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violation investigations, fraud risk assessments, country risk assessments, and ethics training.

Scott Lane, CEO & Chairman of The Red Flag Group®, said, "Our Firm started in Asia over 12 years ago in Hong Kong and advises clients from all markets around the world on how to select and monitor business partners in China. The investments that we are making in our Shanghai office reflect the continued interest of our clients from all our key markets to invest and grow their businesses in China. In the last twelve months we have also seen local and state owned Chinese companies seeking help as they grow their compliance departments and expand their business outlook. Our focus is helping them expand on an international scale while informing them on who they engage in business with."

The Red Flag Group® has recently increased the size of its Shanghai operations and its Mandarin speaking team in Hong Kong and Malaysia in recent years and is looking to double the business in the region over the coming year. "Companies are taking seriously the fact that they want to know who they are doing business with. They want to know their customers, suppliers and their distributors/resellers better than they know themselves.  Our focus is to get our clients the information they need to make better decisions," said Scott Lane
