"It is our pleasure to secure the collaborations with Citroën and Remax respectively in Europe, an important region for the One Belt One Road Initiative. Both companies are world-renowned brands and their exposure in the European Region will assist Chinese entrepreneurs who are interested in expanding their businesses into Europe, helping them avoid possible pit holes as well as embrace and understand the cultural differences," OBOR Education stated in a recent event.

Citroën, a major French automobile manufacturer, part of the PSA Peugeot Citroën group since 1976, first established its reputation for innovative technology with the Traction Avant back in 1934 and is the only automobile manufacturer to have won three different official championships from the International Automobile Federation. Citroën has been selling vehicles in China since 1984 largely via the Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën joint venture, which today represents a major market for the brand.

During the event, Citroën expressed the company's delight with the collaboration, stating that this resources and information sharing collaboration will help Citroën establish stronger branding value in China - a market that is dominated by German car makers. Citroën is convinced that the One Belt One Road Initiative will create business opportunities for French and China entrepreneurs to exchange ideas and innovations.

Remax, short for "Real Estate Maximums", is an American international real estate company that operates through a franchise system. "The collaboration with OBOR Education is a win-win situation for both companies. We will provide our real estate expertise in the European Region to the Chinese investors to minimize risks and improve investment returns and in return, this project will widen our market and clientele base," Remax Portugal Head Office General Manager, Mr. Mario Adelino Raposo remarked when announcing the collaboration.

In April 2018, OBOR Education Holdings Limited launched a mobile application - OBOR Edu that provides Belt and Road educational resources for Chinese Entrepreneurs. This partnership with two European giants will further strengthen its resources and business proposition in the highly anticipated niche market.
