SINGAPORE, Sept. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --The world's best Companies came together at the 2019 World Edition of House of Rose Professional's Break the ceiling touch the sky® - the success and leadership summit for women in Singapore on Sept 2, 2019 to share best practices on diversity & inclusion, leadership and success. The summit was accompanied by the 2019 Break the ceiling touch the sky Leonie® Awards for global diversity and leadership excellence. Close to 500 leaders attended the summit and discussed future trends impacting leadership, diversity & inclusion best case studies from across the world, how to think like a CEO, Male advocacy for diversity, etc.

An outstanding line up of global speakers took to the stage to share their best practices with participants. This included leaders from Coca-Cola, Prudential Singapore, Hogan Lovells, Sandoz, Accenture, PepsiCo, Dell, HP, SAP,  Dole, Fine Hygienic Holding, Unilever, SC Johnson & Son, Otis, Besomebody Inc., Coty, etc.    

House of Rose Professional Pte. Ltd. also announced the winners of the 2019 Break the ceiling touch the sky Leonie Awards for global gender diversity and leadership excellence at the summit.

The world's best companies competed to win top honours across several award categories. A jury of 30 global, C suite leaders, led by Stephanie Keen, Managing Partner, Hogan Lovells Singapore; Alex von Behr, President vBA Consulting and Helio Fujita, Head of People & Organization for Sandoz International Region (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa, and Latam), Sandoz, lead the awards judging.

In the category Best CEOs/ Presidents for Gender Diversity & Inclusion, Christina Ruggiero, CEO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd and Suresh Narayanan, Chairman & MD, Nestle India Ltd took the top two awards. Natalia Shuman, EVP and CEO, North America, Bureau Veritas tied with John Roth, President and MD, General Motors Middle East for third place.

PepsiCo China, Nestle India and Unilever North Africa and Middle East took top honours in the Best Companies for Gender Diversity & Inclusion category.

Katja Razinger, Country Head Slovenia and D&I Council Member, Sandoz International; Judith Trujillo, Head of Human Resources at General Motors Africa and Middle East and Alejandra Mendez, Senior People & Organization Business Partner, Sandoz Spain won in the Best HR/ D&I leaders Category.  

Yukari Inoue - Managing Director, Japan, Kellogg; Christina Ruggiero, CEO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd and Alizeh Iqbal Haider - Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, Fine Hygienic Holding were top winners in the Most Inspirational Women leaders category.

The Best Mentor of the year category was won by Kash Shaikh, CEO, BSB Group International; James Michael Lafferty, CEO, Fine Hygienic Holding and Umran Beba, Umran Beba, Chief Global Diversity & Engagement Officer, PepsiCo.

The Walk the talk Campaign category was jointly won by "The Unlabelled Diet Coke" Campaign and Sandoz Slovenia.

Best Company for Overall Diversity & Inclusion was won by Sandoz Thailand, PepsiCo ANZ and Walmart India.

Break the ceiling touch the sky® - the success and leadership summit for women® was launched in 2015 by House of Rose Professional Pte.
