(AMEX: ONP) ("Orient Paper" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer and distributor of diversified paper products in Hebei, China, today announced that the international law firm engaged by the Company's Board of Directors to conduct an independent investigation into the issues raised by Muddy Waters LLC, Loeb & Loeb LLP, has retained Deloitte & Touche Financial Advisory Services Limited ("Deloitte") to assist it.
Deloitte will provide support to Loeb & Loeb, which is working with the Company's audit committee, in connection with the independent review of the accounting aspects of the issues raised and the investigation of the relevant financial transactions and customer relationships.
