The technical wizards from UBTECH demonstrate how to create and program your very own robots. Imagination comes to life at this fun and interactive event for all family members!
The Jimu Robot system is an innovative robotics building block system that allows users to design, build, and program their very own robot. Jimu Robot "inventors" can build any of the pre-designed models or invent their own creations by combining easy interlocking, snap-together parts and following the 3D based instructions in the Jimu Robot app (available for iOS and Android devices).
With their iPhone or iPad, users can program their robots to carry out an endless number of movements by utilizing the intuitive Pose, Record, and Playback (PRP) programming feature, and then create sequences with drag and drop Blockly coding. State-of-the-art robotic servo motors produce smooth and accurate motions to really bring your creation to life.
Users can then share their creations as well as view and "like" an unlimited number of official and user-created robot designs from other robotic enthusiasts through a global online Jimu community forum, also available on the Jimu Robot app, available in the App Store. The app provides instructions and tutorials on how to build, program and control Jimu Robot creations, as well as meet friends and share ideas with the Jimu Community.
Jimu Robot MeeBot Kit and Animal Add-On Kit are both available at Apple.com and at Apple Stores in select countries. When combined with the MeeBot, the Add-On Kit provides an additional robotic servo motor and all of the parts needed to create four additional animal characters: Penguin, T-Rex, Seal, and Parrot.
