Pringle joined Fluke in 2012 from Whirlpool Corp. where he was the senior vice president of Integrated Business Units and was responsible for several consumer and commercial businesses. Prior to his tenure with Whirlpool, he spent more than ten years with major-brand corporations Warner Lambert, Pfizer, and Johnson & Johnson. He held progressively larger international leadership roles culminating in President/General Manager for Consumer Healthcare USA for Johnson & Johnson.

Fluke has also expanded the geographical responsibilities of President, Asia Pacific (APAC) Jimmy Hwong. In addition to multiple office and manufacturing locations in China, Hwong will be responsible for Fluke subsidiaries in India, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Taipei, and Australia as well as robust distributor relationships throughout SE Asia. The appointment is consistent with the long-term growth of Hwong's role and importance within Fluke.

Extending Hwong's responsibility over the entire APAC region is the latest move by Fluke to better serve its customers. In the last two years alone, Fluke acquired TTL Technologies India and incorporated Fluke Korea, both previously long-time master distributors for Fluke. Earlier this year, Fluke opened its second manufacturing facility in China, in the city of Wuhu. Fluke opened its first manufacturing facility in China in 2002, in the city of Shilu, and the Fluke China team has designed and manufactured products specifically for the APAC market since 2003.

"Jimmy Hwong is one of the strongest and most experienced leaders in the Fluke organization," said Fluke President Wes Pringle, "His understanding of the Fluke customer is second to none. Jimmy is the perfect addition to what is already a very strong team across the Asia Pacific and will keep our momentum strong."
