The partnership will see Altran continue to provide Lotus F1 Team with leading-edge innovation and technological support services through a team of Altran engineers based on site at Whiteways Technical Centre in Enstone, Oxfordshire, the home of Lotus F1 Team. During 2013, Altran's engineers provided crucial support on the development of key components of the recently unveiled E22 racing car, including the gearbox dyno, the front wing and the rear suspension. Altran has also played a pivotal role in other major engineering projects at Lotus F1 Team, including the development of a state-of-the-art driver simulator and the upgrade of the wind tunnel at Whiteways Technical Centre.

Mike Simms, CEO of Altran UK, said: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with Lotus F1 Team, a relationship that is based on a shared passion for innovation and a relentless desire to stay ahead of the competition. The 2014 season brings with it a raft of new racing regulations, which require all F1 teams to undergo a major change of direction in terms of engineering design and execution. Altran is playing a critical role in enabling Lotus F1 Team to rise to this challenge successfully, and we look forward to an exciting and successful year ahead."

Matthew Carter, CEO of Lotus F1 Team, added: "Technical Partnerships provide vital support to our engineering endeavours and their continuity and quality represent a key strength of the team's DNA. The collaboration with Altran has provided invaluable contributions in different moments of the team's history and we are particularly pleased to see their support being renewed in a moment when a vision for innovation and engineering are more critical than ever."
