Sunway Reopens 4.5-Star Hotel on 3 November 2016 After a RM125 Million Renovation

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Oct. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunway Hotels & Resorts, the hospitality division of property-construction conglomerate Sunway Group, announces the re-opening of its 4.5-star Sunway Pyramid Hotel (formerly known as Sunway Pyramid Hotel East) on 3 November 2016. The hotel will progressively open its guestrooms and suites after having undergone a RM125 million renovation exercise since it closed on 1 April 2016. Sunway Pyramid Hotel targets to operate on its full inventory of 564 rooms by end January 2017.

Located in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur, adjacent to the 5-star flagship Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, the newly renovated Sunway Pyramid Hotel integrates the brand's latest design elements, reflecting contemporary interiors and stylish ergonomic furnishings catering to the needs of the upbeat new generation of travelers. Guests will experience an upgraded stay in the hotel's latest deluxe guestrooms which include the new purpose-built family rooms and suites.

The renovation increased the hotel's room inventory to 564 deluxe rooms and suites from the previous 549, incorporating 21 new family rooms and suites, designed to accommodate a growing increase in family and leisure travelers to the integrated destination. The new family suites, ranging in size between 53 square-metres to 60 square-metres, will be amongst the Hotel's largest rooms offering comfortable spaces, useful amenities, added extras like two bathrooms, a mini refrigerator, a microwave and bedding options accommodating up to six (6) persons.
