The Festive Dinner, available on December 24 to 26 and 31 for MOP888* per person, includes Lobster Carpaccio, Iran Caviar and Lime Sorbet; Foie Gras Parfait with Champagne Jelly; and Lamb Rack and Pistachio in Port Wine Wild Mushroom Sauce. On Christmas Eve, guests will be serenaded by music from the hotel's own entertainers.
Running from December 15 to 27 and on January 1, Temptations' features a festive lunch menu for MOP208* or MOP258* per person on December 25 and 26 respectively.
Celebrate the Winter Solstice
The StarWorld Hotel Grand Ballroom hosts three separate festive feasts in its elegant and impressive surroundings over the holidays. The first, on December 22, celebrates the Winter Solstice with a selection of multi-course dinner menus made for sharing. Authentic Chinese dishes such as Stir-fried Boston Lobster with E-fu Noodles; Sauteed Pigeon with Scallions, Stewed Garoupa's Belly; and Sauteed Wagyu Beef with Assorted Mushrooms are just a few of the treats on offer. Festive Ballroom Buffets
The lunch buffet, for MOP268* per person or MOP188* for children, on December 25 in the Grand Ballroom is definitely a family affair with Santarina handing out candy to all the kids, large and small! With over 70 items the sumptuous spread has something for everyone ranging from Lobster, Seafood and Truffle Terrine, fresh Rock Oysters, soups, salads, sushi and sashimi to the carvery's traditional roast turkey and many other stunning hot dishes plus a chocolate fountain and crepe counter.
An even bigger selection is available for the Christmas Day and Boxing Day dinner buffets on December 25, for MOP428* per person or MOP298* per child, with a suitably festive ambience provided by two musical performances evening.
