HONG KONG, Oct. 15 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- MEGA SHOW PART 1 & 2 are two of the most influential trade shows for international buyers this October (20-23 Oct 2010 & 28-30 Oct 2010 respectively) in Hong Kong, where for seven show days, over 4,700 suppliers will be presenting the largest showcase of quality, Asian products for export.

MEGA SHOW PART 1

Since 1992, the gifts, housewares, premiums and toy industries have supported this annual trade show and it is now regarded as a must-attend marketplace in Hong Kong by over 50,000 buyers.

For the coming show, a new layout defining the major merchandise sectors has been implemented so the international buying community can more effectively source, compare and select from the thousands of products on display in the clear, navigable and refreshed show layout. Five main product sectors are on show: Gifts and Premiums, Housewares and Home Decor, Toys and games, Asia and International Focus, and Christmas, Festive and Seasonal.

Over 3,700 innovative and quality-led suppliers, not only from Hong Kong and mainland China, but with a wide representation of Asian and European suppliers from as far afield as Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Luxembourg, Macau, Malaysia, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, U.A.E, U.K., U.S.A and Vietnam not only enhance but reinforce MEGA SHOW PART 1 as one of the world's premier sourcing marketplaces .

With a very healthy buyer pre-show registration already indicated, both organisers and the exhibitors are looking forward to a successful show in Hong Kong and are ready to present a showcase that will reinforce the reputation of this well-established business event.

In addition, MEGA SHOW PART 2, taking place one week later from October 28-30, will provide the final opportunity to view a further 900 companies, rounding off the busy Autumn buying season.

MEGA SHOW PART 2

Now in its eighth edition, this compact, well-edited showcase of over 900 companies completes the Hong Kong buying calendar and presents not only giftware, premiums and fashion accessories, but a wide selection of home decor and household products, plus new products for house improvement, garden and outdoors and home interiors from companies based in Asia-Pacific and China. OFFICE AND STATIONERY, following its successful launch last year, will be back with over 100 companies from mainland China.

Companies from Hong Kong and mainland China are joined by suppliers from Belgium, India, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam, with as many as 400 new companies joining the show for the first time, bringing many new products to market.

The concurrent lighting, hardware, and building decoration materials business events provide further reasons for buyers to source, compare and select from a wide range of related products from the Asian suppliers on show during the last week of October in Hong Kong.

This season, the show layout has been reshaped for the buyer's convenience with the three halls being clearly defined into three distinct product groups, providing an ease of navigation around the show venue.  With the strong increase in attendance over 2008 and 2009, MEGA Show Part 2 has now established its reputation as the final sourcing port of call for value, volume and variety for over 16,000 buyers every October in Hong Kong.
