GUANGZHOU, China, May 22, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia-AsiaNet/ -- Vietnam's first wind power station came into service with the Vietnam government planning on developing renewable energies. The utilization rate of renewable energies will reach 11% by 2050.

Vietnam is rich in renewable energies such as solar energy, wind energy, water power, etc. With further increase of global oil prices, clean and safe new energies will be a new trend.

In daily life, the kitchen uses most energy consumption. In Vietnam it is common to produce heat with combustible materials such as wood, coal, gas, etc. which gives a heat efficiency of 40% to 70% only with poor safety and heavy pollution. Also, with gradual depletion of energies and international price rise of coal and oil, it will be a new trend to use an induction cooker with less energy costs, higher heat efficiency and safety.

Vietnam is just at the stage where cooking tools need a change without there being relevant brands of induction cookers. Those from Europe, America, Japan and Korea with high prices; unknown brands with lower prices and quality cannot effectively meet demands. "Induction cookers have been popular in Europe and America, so we've settled on the emerging market in Vietnam and set up plants to manufacture," Midea (Vietnam) management said. Midea's induction cooker, with more than one core technology, is leading in Asia sales.

As a new electrical appliance in Vietnam, the induction cooker will be introduced into the kitchens of each family. How do they make the selection? "First, a good brand. Brands such as Midea can guarantee quality and after-sale service. Second, performance. The principle of the induction cooker is to change electrical energy into thermal energy. The less heat losses in conversion, the higher performance it will have, and, accordingly, less consumption. Performance mainly depends on the heat conduction materials - a Midea induction cooker uses pure copper with the highest thermal efficiency. Last, material. There are two kinds of induction cooker panels made of black German Ceran glass ceramics and pure white Japanese ceramics with smooth surface. Both are good, used by large manufacturers such as Midea," an expert says.

The induction cooker market demand in Vietnam is rapidly expanding. With the trend of developing new energies, it was called the "God of Cooking" or "Green Cooker", which will become the mainstream.
