TOKYO, Aug. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) and Japan's largest Japan restaurant guide website GURUNAVI will be jointly organizing a Japanese Restaurant Week in Bangkok which shall be held in Bangkok from 1 Sept 2013 to 8 Sept 2013, whereby 18 Japanese restaurants in Bangkok have agreed to participate. The aim of this is to promote tourism to Japan while encouraging people to understand the Japanese cuisine culture.

Throughout Bangkok, the participating Japanese restaurants are Chibacham, DONTAKU RESTAURANT (Sukhumvit Soi 26, Sukhumvit Soi 47), HAMA-ICHI, KACHA KACHA, KOURAKUEN (EKAMAI, FASHION ISLAND, THE MALL BANGKAPI), NANOHANA (Crown Plaza Hotel, TONGLOR), TEN-SUI, TEPPEN, TORAJIRO  (Sukhumvit 26, Sukhumvit 39), YAKINIKU TAN (Ekamai, Nihon Machi, Thonglo, Thonglo Soi4). During the Japanese Restaurant Week, customers of these 18 restaurants will be given an oil blotting paper as a present. At the same time, customers can use their PC or smartphone to access a website created by GURUNAVI (http://sg.sushiandsake.net)written in Thai. If they register for the present campaign(http://th.sushiandsake.net)which start from 31 Aug, they will stand chances including to win a two-way ticket to Japan and a chance to travel in Japan.

In addition, a special PR Booth will be set up for the Japanese Restaurant Week in Bangkok at the Japan Festa (http://www.japanfesta.com/) to be organized from 31 Aug 2013 to 1 Sept 2013 at Central World Square in Bangkok. Apart from disseminating information about the Japanese Restaurant Week in Bangkok, the staff shall also provide a detailed introduction and answer relevant queries that event/booth visitors may have.
