SHANGHAI, Oct. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PT Huawei Investment ("Huawei Indonesia") and PT Sigma Cipta Caraka ("Telkomsigma"), a subsidiary company of PT. Telkom Indonesia have jointly signed a cooperation agreement for Storage as a Service project during Huawei Southern Pacific Night 2015 in conjunction with Huawei Cloud Congress (HCC2015) on Friday, 18 September 2015 in Shanghai, China. The contract was signed between Judi Achmadi, CEO of Telkomsigma and Xu Ying, Director of Indonesia Data Center Solution Sales Department, Huawei Indonesia. This agreement signing has marked an important step in solution cooperation for the government education industry by the effort of Telkomsigma and Huawei.

We are willing to maintain the long-term cooperative relationship with Telkomsigma, continuous optimization and innovation, contribute towards the development of education in Indonesia."
In this project, Telkomsigma used Huawei next-generation mass storage system OceanStor UDS Storage as a service as a storage resource pool to build an online storage business platform for the Indonesian education industry. Lectures, teachers and students can upload, download and share teaching materials to all group members. The range of users will continue to expand in the next three years.
