The Auspicious Light -- Painting by Chinese Artist Nan Haiyan

2015-03-18 15:45 2310

BEIJING, March 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Tian Jingang, spokesman for artist Nan Haiyan, gave a speech at Yinghua Pavilion ("Ying Hua Ge") in Beijing Asian Games Village where he explained that the artwork on display, a piece by Mr. Nan, portrays a scene where a young Tibetan couple is toasting their guests. The scripture and the Buddha in the upper part of the painting represent the artist's subjective metaphorical expression and are a manifestation of the happy life of Tibetan people in the auspicious light.

Nan's work is replete with rich language and refined composition, and his inspiration mostly comes from his observations of daily life, leading to a dialogue between art and life as well as to the connection between emotion and creation.
