Bid for Solar System at Federal Courthouse in Trenton
SHANGHAI, China, Nov. 7 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- WorldWater & Power Corp.
(OTC Bulletin Board: WWAT.OB), developer and marketer of proprietary high-
power solar systems, recently announced that the company has been awarded a
$346,694 contract by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to build
a solar electric system at the Clarkson S. Fisher U.S. Courthouse Annex in
Trenton, New Jersey. The project is a joint venture with Ray Angelini, Inc.
(RAI) of Sewell, New Jersey. The WorldWater winning bid calls for the
installation of photovoltaic panels on the roof of the seven-story glass
tower, which was completed in 1996. The solar system will provide a portion
of the Annex’s electricity and the Federal Government will earn "net
metering" credits for its solar electric production from PSE&G when the
offices are closed. Approximately $147,500 of the construction cost will be
paid in the form of a rebate from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program.
