SHANGHAI, May 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hilton Shanghai won the highest honors at the 2014 International Hotel Professional Elite Forum and the 7th China Hotel Gold Dragon awards ceremony held in Hangzhou on 15 May, 2014. In recognition of Hilton Shanghai's exceptional performance in the hospitality industry, the hotel was awarded "Most Popular Outside Catering Provider", and Ms. Yvonne Yan, Director of Marketing & Communications, was honored with the "Outstanding Hotel Professional Manager" awards.

Under the authorities of the China Hotel Professional Managers Forum Committee, "Hotel Professional Executive" magazine combining with other major Chinese media have established and organized the nationwide International Hotel Professional Elite Forum and the 7th China Hotel Gold Dragon Awards. The award honors outstanding hotels and hotel elites for their dedication to the hotel industry and development in China.

International Elite Forum is a distinguished gathering of leaders of the hotel industry held by the "Hotel Professional Managers" in association with several domestic organizations. In her early career days, she was also a reporter working for Shanghai Television English TV channel, currently renamed as "International Channel Shanghai"
