Global CEO of Advertising Giant JWT Visits Shanghai to Underscore Importance of China as a Global Force in Marketing

SHANGHAI, China, May 13 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Bob Jeffrey, Global CEO of JWT Worldwide will visit China this week to meet with senior management, clients and media to further understanding and increase awareness of the importance of China and the Asia region to JWT Worldwide.

Mr. Jeffrey will spend 4 days in Shanghai before leaving to tour other countries in the APAC region. His itinerary in Shanghai includes senior management meetings and briefings, client receptions and press interviews. Mr. Jeffrey will present a speech at a WPP Summit in Shanghai attended by senior Chinese management and global leaders.

Speaking about the importance of China to JWT Mr. Jeffrey said:

“I was last in China one thousand days ago and there is no other country in the world that has changed so much in that short period of time. I am here to learn more about the ever-evolving Chinese marketing environment as well as meet with new clients and partners here in China.”

Mr Jeffrey continued:

JWT is working very closely with 4 brands in China to prepare for the Beijing Olympics. Lenovo and Yili Group are both official sponsors for the Olympics. JWT is also working with Anta Sports Products, not an official sponsor but will run local campaigns around the Olympics.
