Bureau Veritas Signs Memorandum of Understanding with China Zhong Shan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau

HONG KONG, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services is pleased to announce that its Electrical and Electronics Business Line ("Bureau Veritas") and the Inspection & Quarantine Technology Centre of Zhong Shan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau have formed a strategic collaboration. The collaboration will enable Bureau Veritas to offer a one-stop testing and certification solution for the electrical and electronics supply chain addressing local and export markets. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by two parties in August.

Through the collaboration, Bureau Veritas provides electrical and electronics testing, certification and technical consultation services leveraging the Zhong Shan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau' laboratory. Its advanced testing equipment combined with Bureau Veritas' technical and commercial know-how enables the parties to offer comprehensive and cost-effective test packages for electrical and electronics companies, especially for LED luminaires, general luminaire and other lighting products to factories and vendors in China.
